TJJ Bus 11
Almost Time To Say Goodbye..:(

Dear JSU TJJ Bus 11 Parents,

It’s hard to believe that we are almost at the end of this amazing and inspiring journey. It seems like it was just yesterday that we got off the plane feeling timid and nervous, wondering what this trip would bring for each one of us. Three and a half weeks later, we are fulfilled, inspired and changed. We aren’t a group of individuals anymore, but rather, we are one unit, one family.  As the TJJ Bus 11 family enters into our final Shabbat together, we hold our heads high with pride, knowing that we have accomplished and learned so much, understanding we have discovered a newfound sense of love for our Judaism.

On a more personal note, I couldn’t be more happy to have had this most amazing opportunity to spend this last few weeks with such an incredible group of people. I want to personally thank you, the parents, for allowing me to grow with your children, to learn from them and to be inspired by them. While our time in the holy land may come to an end, our journey doesn’t end here. We can’t wait for the reunions, the Shabbatons and the get-togethers that we will have back home.

From the bottom of my heart, I say thank you and wish each of you continued Nachat (pride) from your amazing children.

Shabbat Shalom,

Rabbi Shlomo
