Hello Again,
After a relaxing and enjoyable free weekend we have returned to our group and begun the second leg of TJJ Bus 11. We rounded the groups up this morning in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv and headed back towards the North end of the country. On the way north we stopped at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stechler; two proud supporters of TJJ. We had a delicious lunch in their backyard and then heard some inspiring words about success from Mr. Stechler, while all the students had the opportunity to show gratitude to some of the people who have made this trip possible. We proceeded to Kfar Kedem, a city that is set in ancient Talmudic times where the teens got to dress up, bake fresh pita bread and ride donkeys. We hurried back to the hotel to catch the second half of the World Cup Finals and being that our trip has such an international component, this was a big hit. We ended our evening with thought provoking discussion groups and are now settling back in to the beautiful Chispin Guest House. Please continue to keep in touch and I have really enjoyed getting to know some of you over the course of the past couple weeks.
