Hello Everyone,
Today marked our first full day of activities on TJJ Bus 11. We had an incredibly fun and busy day spent in and out of the water and it was so nice to see students getting acquainted and learning so much more about their new friends. We started off the morning on the Kinneret Sea building rafts and competing in a race. The teens collaborated and worked together to create complex and functional rafts. Although it was hot and somewhat exhausting- we stayed cool in the shade and kept properly hydrated throughout the day. After a quick falafel lunch we walked along the Majrase River which was relaxing and refreshing at most points and splash-filled at others. At this point we are back at our hotel getting prepared for a relaxing Shabbat in which we are honoured to have Rabbi Israel Lashak joining us for Shabbat. Rabbi Lashak, originally from Mexico, has lived in Dallas, TX for many years teaching and educating thousands of NCSY teens throughout his career.
