Greetings Everyone,
The past couple days have been action-packed and filled with activities on NCSY TJJ Bus 11. We had the pleasure of spending Shabbat in the beautifully serene Chispin with our esteemed Guest of Honour Rabbi Israel Lashak. Rabbi Lashak answered questions from the students on Shabbat and inspired the students with words of wisdom as Shabbat was ending. After Shabbat we had an extremely competitive game of dodgeball with another TJJ bus who was staying with us at the same hotel. Although we did not emerge victorious, our TJJers impressed the staff from both busses with how much dignity and character they showed during the game.
Today we started our day rappelling down a cliff in the Dalton Valley which was a blast. We made our way to the beach in Tveriah for a delicious burger lunch and then headed into the water for an hour of activities on the amazing Aqua Kef floating water park. We then went to cruise along the Kinneret Sea while dancing to music while the sun began to set. We ended our day with dinner at the El Rancho Steak House in Tveriah and I can say confidently that on the bus ride back to our hotel, more than 90% of the teens fell asleep after such an exhausting day in the hot Tveriah sun.
