Dear NCSY SUMMER TJJ BUS 11 Parents,
On Monday, we began the day visiting a girl’s school that I work in during the year, Machon Maayan, and heard about the concept of a gap year program. While the girls were in the activity, we had a great game of ultimate Frisbee with just the guys. Everyone had a chance to enjoy ice cream and watermelon to cool off after the game.
We then had a great time at the Blind Museum in Holon, where the teens had a chance to understand first hand what the value of sight really is by not being able to utilize their own and speaking to visually impaired individuals.
We capped off the day at Independence Hall in Tel Aviv and then some free time in the Carmel shuk.
Upon arriving at the hostel we had a very exciting and hilarious game of lip syncing.
A great time had by all!
