Dear NCSY SUMMER TJJ BUS 11 Parents,
On Monday, our tour guide, Rivi, took our group to the Banias Springs and taught about the historical and present day borders of Israel. While visiting the beautiful springs, the teens learned to appreciate the value of water to the land of Israel.
We then traveled to Misgav Am, a kibbutz that lies uniquely on a mountain top where u can see Lebanon, Syria, and the Mediterranean Sea. Hearing from one of local members of the kibbutz was a great experience of hearing someone so passionate about the state of Israel and our people.
After the kibbutz, we went rafting on the Jordan River and the teens had an opportunity to get wet and enjoy. It was refreshing and a lot of fun!
