Dear NCSY SUMMER TJJ BUS 11 Parents,

Thursday was an unbelievable day where the teens had the opportunity to hike, play and have activities in the water.  

We started building rafts in the Sea of Galilee, which was an amazing opportunity to see the teens to take the lead of their teams.  From there we took a nature walk in water waist high and some great water fights. 

After eating lunch we visited the gravesite of one of the greatest leaders during the second century, Rabbi Akiva. Learning about Rabbi Akiva’s life was inspiring to our teens: how at even the age of forty one can begin their studies and become a leader and teacher of tens of thousands.

The second half of the day was spectacular. We enjoyed a course of trampolines and jumps in water at the Sea of Galilee and then went on a party boat leaving from the marina in Tiberias. The energy was electric on the boat enabling teens to really have a chance to express themselves.

We finished the day at a delicious meat dinner in Tiberias.

In all, it was a great day!
